Suðreyjar

The South Islands (so-named because they are south of the Orkneys and Shetlands) were first settled by the Norse over a hundred years ago.

The South Islands are split into the inner islands, which hug the jagged coast of the land of Picts and Scots, and the outer islands to the west. The two groups are separated by a deep channel called the Minch.

The Jarl of the outer South Islands is allied to the Kings of Dublin and York.
